The other side of the conversation goes to OpenAI to be transcribed and answered. Your own voice does not. It's transcribed by macOS on your own machine, and used only to show you what you said. Recordings and transcripts are written to your Documents folder and never uploaded anywhere.
Recording a conversation is your responsibility: consent rules vary by country and by state. Read the guidance before you use it in a real interview.
Not unless you tell them. Shortlisted doesn't join your call, doesn't appear as a participant, and doesn't send anything into the meeting. Whether you disclose it is your decision, and in some places recording without consent is unlawful — see the recording guidance.
Yes — it captures whatever your Mac is playing, so the meeting app doesn't matter. You can also point it at a single app, so only Teams is captured and your music isn't.
The first words typically appear about a second after the question ends, and stream in from there. It's designed to be skimmed, not read aloud.
The answer is discarded and regenerated against the full question. You don't end up reading a reply to half a sentence.
No. Minutes come from your Shortlisted account. If you'd rather use your own OpenAI key and pay them directly, the app supports that too.
