Most problems are covered in the guides: for Shortlisted, which audio to pick, the permissions macOS asks for, and what to do when the transcript stays empty; for LiveDeck, sources, outputs, the web remote and Stream Deck control.
Refunds and billing
Shortlisted payments are handled by Paddle, our merchant of record; your receipt has a link to manage or cancel a subscription. LiveDeck purchases are made through the App Store or Google Play, so refunds go through Apple or Google.
Before you write
Shortlisted: what happens when I run out of minutes?
You are warned at five minutes and again at one, then the session stops. Topping up takes about a minute and the app picks the new balance up on its own.
Shortlisted: is my microphone sent anywhere?
No. Your own voice is transcribed on-device using macOS speech recognition. Only the meeting audio is used to generate an answer.
LiveDeck: do I need an account?
No. LiveDeck works without an account or email address. Purchases are tied to your Apple ID or Google account instead.
LiveDeck: why does my output stop after five minutes?
On the free tier, outputs (NDI, streaming, recording and HLS) carry a small watermark and stop after five minutes. LiveDeck Pro removes both.
Who takes the payment?
Paddle, as merchant of record, for Shortlisted. LiveDeck purchases go through the App Store or Google Play.
