During the interview
The app is designed to be glanced at, not read. A few habits make that possible.
Before the call connects
- Press Start — it needs a moment to connect
- Put the window beside the video, not below it, so your eyes stay near the camera
- Set the text size so you can read a line without leaning in (⌘+ / ⌘−)
Reading answers
Answers stream in about a second after a question ends. They're written to be skimmed — an opening line, then bullets. Take the shape of the answer, not the words; reading aloud is obvious to anyone watching.
When the interviewer keeps talking
If they pause and then add to the question, the card updates to the complete question, marks itself updated, and the answer is regenerated for the whole thing. You won't be left reading a reply to half a sentence.
The timers

The answer timer is the most useful thing on screen. Most people talk too long under pressure, and watching it turn amber is a better cue than any answer we can draft.
Scrolling back
Scroll up and the feed holds still — it won't yank you to the bottom mid-sentence. A New answers below pill appears; click it to catch up.
What you said
If on-device transcription is enabled, your own answer appears collapsed under each response. Useful afterwards for spotting where you rambled or missed the question.
